BABi is the successor organisation to the British-American Chamber of Commerce (New York/London) and the American Chamber of Commerce (UK) , which merged in September 2000, in order to create a stronger, transatlantic business organisation.

BABi’s professional staff in both New York and London includes experts in a number of fields such as event management, marketing and promotion, business information and information technology.

BABi offers additional business opportunities to its member companies by providing them with access to and providing the secretariat for the British-American Business Council (BABC) , the largest transatlantic business network, with more than 30 chapters and more than 4, 000 member companies based in major cities throughout North America and the UK.

BABi also works closely with other leading international business organisations, including the worldwide network of American Chambers of Commerce, the US Chamber of Commerce, the Confederation of British Industry and the British Chamber of Commerce network in the UK and overseas.

BABi enjoys the support of an International Advisory Board consisting of the Chairmen and Chief Executives of leading multinational corporations, as well asits Board of Directors and Transatlantic Council.
