Delivering results
Our close working relationship has delivered success
for some of the largest US companies expanding their
UK base. When one of the world’s leading defence
companies required to expand UK operations and bid for
a key public sector contract, they came to CMBT for
help to support their expansion plans. Our client was
a market leader in technology solutions but needed to
offer an integrated business process change programme
to successfully win a bid to integrate a new communications
system. The key requirement was a senior IT Business
Process consultant with an in-depth knowledge of the
culture and bid process of the public sector.
CMBT appointed our CEO, Wendy Boast to mentor the UK
senior management through the bid process. Wendy provided
hands on bid support, creating and shaping the business
process transformation solution, as well as introducing
potential partners and suppliers. After an exciting
five-year deal was won, Wendy provided operational support,
shaping the delivery strategy and introducing a team
of CMBT interim executives to implement the business
change requirements.
Our executives’ ability to speak the end-users
language has proved invaluable, helping our client to
negotiate political hurdles and drive forward performance
targets.
CMBT is also currently supporting a major US aerospace
supplier’s transformation programme. Our senior
aerospace executive has advised and assisted with the
implementation of the corporation’s entry into
the European market. The client has greatly benefited
from an impartial and independent assessment of the
business change required to refine the business model
and achieve performance targets. As a result, the client
has successfully set-up European sales operations and
is now considering opportunities for growth by acquisition.
