ACS International Schools offer the highest standards of education and citizenship
ACS International Schools (formerly known as the American Community Schools, England) enrols a total of 2,500 students aged between two and 18, from over 70 countries, speaking 40 languages, at three London area campuses. Based on international and US research, principles and educational practices, ACS International Schools are committed to maintaining the highest standards of scholarship and citizenship.
ACS International Schools Academic Programme
ACS International Schools has over 30 years’ experience of teaching the International Baccalaureate (IB). All ACS International Schools campuses are IB World Schools, offering the IB Diploma. In addition, ACS International Schools Egham is one of only three schools in the UK to also offer the IB Primary Years Programme (aged three-11), and the IB Middle Years Programme (11-16) and ACS International Schools Hillingdon offers the MYP.
All ACS International Schools campuses offer an American High School Diploma, with ACS International Schools Cobham and ACS International Schools Hillingdon also teaching prestigious Advanced Placement (AP) courses.
ACS International Schools graduates attend leading universities around the world. We are accredited by the New England Association for Schools and Colleges, and are authorised by the International Baccalaureate Organisation.
ACS International Schools Cobham
Situated on an impressive 128-acre campus in Surrey, ACS International SchoolsCobham enrols over 1,300 day and boarding students. Exceptional facilities include an Early Childhood village; purpose-built Lower, Middle, and High School buildings; gymnasium and cafeteria complex and a high-specification dormitory. All Lower, Middle and High School buildings have separate classrooms, science labs, libraries, computer labs, art and music studios and a state-of-the-art Interactive Learning Centre.
ACS International Schools encourages every student to engage in a rich and diverse student life. Our extensive athletic programme fields Varsity, Junior Varsity and Middle School teams in 11 sports. Outstanding sports facilities include six tennis courts, an Olympic-sized track, playing fields for football, rugby and baseball, a six-hole golf course, and a state-of-the-art Sports Centre with 25-metre competition indoor swimming pool.
ACS International Schools Hillingdon
The campus is situated on an 11-acre estate less than 15 miles from Central London. A door-to-door bus service covers much of London and Buckinghamshire. ACS International Schools Hillingdon enrols over 550 students aged between four and 18. The campus combines a Grade II-listed stately mansion with a modern wing housing computer labs, libraries, cafeteria, gymnasium, auditorium, and the Harmony House Centre for international music, which houses a digital recording studio, rehearsal rooms and a computer lab for music technology.
The campus has on-site playing fields, tennis courts and playgrounds, and off-site playing fields for football, rugby and athletics. ACS International Schools Hillingdon also offers extensive and varied extracurricular clubs and community service activities both locally and internationally.
ACS International Schools Egham
Situated on a 20-acre campus in Surrey, ACS Egham enrols nearly 600 students. The school has purpose-built computer labs, libraries, spacious classrooms, playgrounds and sports fields. A new 21st century Visual Arts & Design Technology Centre has just been opened, as well as a new Science facility.
ACS International Schools Egham runs small class sizes, which give greater opportunity for individual attention and support for various learning styles. Child Study Teams meet with a student’s teachers, administrators and parents, to ensure every child is appropriately challenged and supported. The Campus sports programme runs teams in football, volleyball, cross-country, basketball, rugby, swimming, dance, tennis, track and field, baseball, softball and golf.
Transition and Housing Support at ACS International Schools
Our expert Admissions teams are knowledgeable in both academic and relocation issues, and our well-established parent communities provide additional support and transition assistance to incoming families.
On-site Housing officers assist families and relocation agents in finding the ideal home within each school’s extensive busing zone, where housing is up to 50% less expensive than central London locations.
