new unified service to coordinate
inward investment into the
Thames Gateway, acting as the
first point of contact for new
and potential investors and to
help provide a joined up and
seamless response to enquiries.
The Thames Gateway is the largest regeneration project in Western Europe, and as such has great potential for further growth.
The RDA’s economic vision for the Gateway is to create a ‘knowledge-driven, well connected, globally competitive region which demonstrates how economic growth and environmental sustainability work together’
Invest Thames Gateway provides a free and confidential investment service to enable any business looking to start up, move or expand to choose the location in the Thames Gateway that best meets their individual business need. Invest Thames Gateway achieves this by working with a wide range of public and private sector agencies within the region, together with national agencies like UK Trade and Investment.
Invest Thames Gateway is also looking to attract Small to Medium Enterprises (SME’s). With over 600,000 businesses in the region at present, the Gateway’s competitive cost base and wide range of locations makes finding a suitable site easy.
